So what exactly am I going to learn on this course?

Basically, how to sing in four part, unaccompanied harmony. This style is generally known as A Capella.

It sounds difficult.

Our aim is that, by the end of the course, all the students should have learnt at least three songs and be able to give a mini-concert to their friends and families, demonstrating their new skill. We will provide all the students with the music, together with teaching tapes of CDs, containing the words and music for all the songs. And to ensure everyone gets the maximum benefit from these materials, we will share a fast learning method, which is very simple but allows anyone to pick up a song in the shortest time.

Of course, there is much more to our sessions than just song learning. To give everyone the maximum benefit, there will also be education sessions on key subjects such as "How to breathe corrrectly", "How the voice really works", "The importance of vowels", "Singing like your neighbour" and "How to present a song to the audience".

So what do I need to do?

Each student simply needs to turn up for the course. We will provide all the teaching materials you need, right down to free water to make sure your voice remains in good condition throughout the course.
